Our movies on film festivals
Movies from I edition project "Russia-Poland. New gaze" take part in Polish and international film festivals. We can see them on it most prestigious and it less known festivals.
Our movies have been qualified following festivals:
- 18th "Message To Man" International Documentary, Short and Animated Films Festival, Saint Petersburg, Russia (2008) - "52 Percent": "Centaur" award for the best short documentary film;
- Diplomas of Polish Film Institute for Marcin Sauter ("The First Day") and Rafał Skalski "52 Percent" (2007);
- "Mediawave 2008" International Film and Music Festival, Hungary (2008) - "52 Percent": Special Mention, "The First Day": "The KPMG Responsible Society Award";
- 9th Amateur and Independent Cinema Festival KAN, Wroclaw, Poland (2008) - "52 Percent": "Golden KANewka" in the documentary film category;
- 6th Gdansk DocFilm Festival "Dignity and Work", Gdansk, Poland (2008) - "52 Percent": Main Prize "Freedom Gate" statue;
- OFFskar Polish Independent Film Awards, Warsaw, Poland (2008) - "52 Percent": Best Documentary Film;
- 9th Belfast Film Festival, Belfast (2008) - "The First Day": "Maysles Brothers Award for Short Documentary";
- International Student Film Festival "Vilnius Film Shorts", Vilnius, Lithuania (2008) - "52 Percent": Best documentary;
- 5th International Human Rights Documentary Film Festival -Docudays.ua, Kiev, Ukraine (2008) - "The First Day": Main Prize;
- 8th "Crossroads of Europe" Festival, Lublin, Poland (2008) - "The First Day": Grand Prix award in the "Short Film" competition;
- 4th Documentary Film Festival "Punto de Vista", Pamplona, Spain (2008) - "52 Percent": First Prize for the best short film;
- 4th International Documentary Film Festival Zagrebdox, Zagreb, Croatia (2008) - "52 Percent": Special Mention;
- "One World" Documentary Film Festival, Prague, Czech Republic (2008) - "The First Day": Mayor of Prague Special Mention Award;
- International Film Festival "Off Cinema 2007" , Poznan, Poland (2007 ) - "The First Day": Main Prize "The Golden Castle" award;
- 12th Siena International Short Film Festival, Siena, Italy (2007) - "The First Day": Special mention of the jury ;
- 19th Polish Film Festival in America (2007)- "The First Day": Main prize in the documentary film category;
- International Documentary Film Festival of México City (2007) - "Seeds": Special Mention;
- Parnu International Documentary and Anthropology Film Festival (2007) - "Seeds": Grand Prix;
- 5th DOCLISBOA Lisbon, Portugal (2007)- "The First Day": Johnnie Walker prize for best short documentary film;
- 14th International Film Festival "Etiuda&Anima 2007" Krakow, Poland (2007) - "52 Percent": Silver Dinosaur award in the Etiuda competition;
- 5th Lodz Film School Students Film Review "Łodzią po Wiśle" Lodz, Poland (2007)- First Prize for "52 Percent";
- 15th Festival International Train, Metro&Cinema Festival CinéRail! Paris, France - Grand Prix Cinerail for "The Suburban Train";
- II International Film Festival Competition CINEMAGIC Plock, Poland (2007) - Main Prize for "Seeds". Special Mention for "The Suburban Train";
- "ANOTHER CONNECTION - MEDIAWAVE'2007" Hungary (2007) - Grand Prize for "Seeds";
- 3rd Kinoteatr.doc Festival Moscow, Russia (2006) - award for "Seeds";
- Big Sky Documentary Film Festival, Missoula, USA (2006) - Artistic Vision Award for "Seeds". "We would like to honor SEEDS with Artistic Vision Award. If Chekov and Rembrandt had collaborated on documentary film, it might have the visual richness and dramatic insight of SEEDS";
- The CMU International Film Festival 2006 "Faces of Democracy" Pittsburgh, USA (2006) - First Place at The Best in Contemporary World Cinema for "Seeds" (dir. Wojciech Kasperski);
- 16th Media Festival „The Man in Threat” Lodz, Poland (2006) - Special Award of Jury for "Seeds" by Wojciech Kasperski. Honorary Diploma for "The Sacred" by Aliona Polunina;
- TVP Kultura 2006 Award in Category Film for the director of the film - for Wojciech Kasperski "Seeds" ;
- 13rd L'Alternativa Festival de Cinema Independent de Barcelona- "Seeds" by Wojciech Kasperski was also appreciated in at the Spanish festival (10-18 November). The film received a Special Mention in the Documentary category;
- Prix Europa- at one of the most important international festivals "Seeds" by Wojciech Kasperski received Nomination and Special Commendation for TV documentary. It's the only award for Poland this year;
- 6th Era New Horizons- At one of the most prestigious and renown festivals in Poland which took place in Wroclaw between 20 and 30 July the audience noticed and awarded the participants of both the first and the second edition of our project. "Clinic" by Tomasz Wolski was voted the best film, and "Coming to you, Agnieszka" by Anna Maszczynska received a Honourable Mention. The fourth, fifth and sixth place were taken respectively by "Travelling Cinema" by Marcin Sauter, "Seeds" by Wojciech Kasperski, and "The Sacred" by Aliona Połunina;
- Cieszyn Film Festival "Summer Stills"- at the festival in Cieszyn, 12-16 July, the Golden Horseshoe Award For Best Newcomer from the festival's artistic director Michał Dudziewicz was presented to the "Seeds" cinematographer, Szymon Lenkowski;
- Lubuskie Film Summer - Lagow 2006- at this year's edition of the festival in Lagow (3-8 July) the Golden Grape Award in documentary films competition was presented to the Paladino Group that included two of our documentary films: "7xMoscow" by Piotr Stasik and "The Suburban Train" by Maciej Cuske;
- SilverDocs Festival AFI/ Discovery Channel Documentary Festival - "Seeds" (dir. Wojciech Kasperski). Festival will proceeded from 13th to 18th june 2006 (Silver Spring, USA);
- 17th Festival "Kinotawr" w Sochi - "My Kieslowski" (dir. Irina Wolkowa). Festival will proceeded from 4 to 2 june 2006 (Sochi, Russia);
- Festiwal Sztuk on Foksal Festival - organized jointly with Eureka Media was an opportunity to see two films by Piotr Stasik - "7xMoscow" and "In turns" on June 3rd;
- 46th Cracow Film Festival- in polish competition we'll see: "Seeds" (dir. Wojciech Kasperski) & "7 x Moscow" (dir. Piotr Stasik), and in international competition: "The Suburban Train" (dir. Maciej Cuske). Festival will proceeded from 30 may to 12 june 2006 (Cracow, Poland);
- Festival of cinema of European Union - "Seeds" (dir. Wojciech Kasperski). Festival will be started 24th april in Moscow, Russia;
- International Documentary Film Festival "Flahertiana"- "Seeds" (dir. Wojciech Kasperski) - First Prize “For the best short documentary”. Festival has proceeded from 3 to 10 may 2006 (Perm, Russia);
- INPUT (INternational PUblic Television)- "Seeds" (dir. Wojciech Kasperski). Festival will proceeded from 7 to 12 may 2006 (Taipei, Taiwan);
- 3rd PLANETE DOC REVIEW- Among the best documentaries from from all over the world we will see "Seeds" (dir. Wojciech Kasperski). Festival will proceeded from 12th to 21th may 2006 (Warsaw, Poland);
- Festival "Beginning"- "Zagorz. Last stop" (dir. Julia Ischakowa & Alexander Chernow). Festival ill proceeded from 20 to 25 april 2006 (Sankt-Petersburg, Russia);
- International Beverly Hills Festival- "Seeds" (dir. Wojciech Kasperski). Festival has proceeded from 5 to 9 april 2006 (USA);
- 28th Big Muddy Film Festival - "Seeds" (dir. W. Kasperski): First Prize "For the best short documentary" (Illinois, USA);
